Sorry I haven’t been sending emails as consistently as I used to. Thinking of other ideas and the newsletter hasn’t been top of mind.

Today is the last day of 2023. Phew, a LOT has happened in the last year with real estate.

Thought it would be interesting to do a brief year in review.

The Fed hiked interest rates the fastest it’s been in over 100 years. Multiple banks collapsed and JP Morgan ended up First Republic and SVB’s assets.

I am selling or have sold most of my assets and am restructuring my internal portfolio. Went from 37 units to 15. Soon to be 1.

Went through 2 property management companies and hoping they can expand with me.

I came back from NYC back to the SF Bay Area to live. Saw the Flatiron building go live there.

The goals for 2024?

50+ unit property in Columbus, OH or Cleveland. I also want to buy NNN retail in Phoenix or Ohio.

Very short and sweet email. I’ll try to break down more concepts in the new year, but the EOY holiday lull has been very real.
