MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m thankful for all of the readers to this newsletter. Wanted to unveil something I’ve been working on for a long long long time.

I hope you guys have gleaned a lot from my ramblings in the different facets of real estate and how the RE world works.

When the world shut down in March 2020, I was an inexperienced newbie who had only worked for real estate firms but never had any direct ownership.

I bought my first house on April 15, 2020. It’s April 9, 2024 and a lot changes in 4 years. I have done about $10mm of deals on the principal side (having GP stakes in it) – about 45 resi units and 32.5k sq ft of retail under my belt.

My COVID project was to write about my real estate learnings from experiences. I ended up writing a book for beginners (NO ChatGPT whatsoever, all me).

It took me about 9 months of inconsistently writing it, deleting pages, and rewriting it. Another 2 months of my friend (Shane Pundt, amazing editor) and I hopping on Zoom and editing it, line by line.
